The subject of the invention is a saucer for a flowerpot or household plant pot. The saucer 1 has a diameter approximately twice or three times that of the pot, it may comprise radial ribs 3 which allow the water to permeate and reinforce the said saucer 1; the said saucer 1 may receive a disc 4 whose periphery comprises a heavy ring which acts as ballast. The disc 4 is made of plasticised metal. At its centre, the saucer 1 comprises a fastening means 6; this fastening means 6 is a vertical peg 6 which is integral with the base 7 of the saucer 1.
