Specifically a hair cosmetic that includes a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose (A) an oil solution (B) that has a dissolution rate of 0 1 g per 100 g of water at 20°C and a surfactant (C) wherein the cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose (A) has a main chain derived from an anhydroglucose the degree of substitution of cationized ethyleneoxy groups is 0.01 2.9 and the degree of substitution of propyleneoxy groups is 0.1 4.0 and a method for the preparation thereof.
