Provided are a method for recognizing a region of interest profile in an ultrasound image and a corresponding system. The method comprises: recognizing a section type of a target object in an ultrasound image (S10) selecting, according to the section type, a corresponding shape segmentation model (S12) and segmenting, according to the selected shape segmentation model, a region of interest in the ultrasound image, so as to obtain a profile of the region of interest (S14). By implementing the method and system, the segmentation accuracy rate of a region of interest (an endocardium) profile may be improved.Linvention concerne un procédé de reconnaissance dune zone de profil dintérêt dans une image à ultrasons et un système correspondant. Le procédé comprend : la reconnaissance dun type de section dun objet cible dans une image à ultrasons (S10) la sélection, en fonction du type de section, dun modèle de segmentation de forme correspondant (S12) et la segmentation, conformément au modèle de segmentation de forme sélectionné, dune zone dintérêt dans limage à ultrasons, de façon à obtenir un profil de la zone dintérêt (S14). La mise en œuvre desdits procédé et système permet daméliorer le taux de précision de segmentation dune zone de profil (endocarde) dintérêt.
