One example aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method for assessing a health of a passenger of an aerial vehicle. The method can include receiving at least one signal indicative of a state of the passenger from one or more sensors of a chair in the aerial vehicle. The method can include determining a health state of the passenger based on the at least one received signal. The method can include determining if the aerial vehicle should land based on the determined health state of the passenger. When a determination is made that the aerial vehicle should land based on the determined health state of the passenger, the method can include identifying a nearest airport. When a determination is made that the aerial vehicle should land based on the determined health state of the passenger, the method can include transmitting a request to land to the identified airport.
