PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod comprising a rod body to which a fitting is attached.SOLUTION: A fishing rod in one embodiment comprises: a rod body extending along a center shaft A； a fitting which has an attachment part, and is attached to the rod body so that the attachment part is in contact with an outer peripheral face of the rod body； and a fiber-reinforced resin layer 15 which is provided around the rod body to cover the attachment part.
