PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adopt a normalization method that can be effectively applicable when a body motion is detected, and diagnose whether or not a user's respiration state is apnea and/or low respiration with a high degree of precision.SOLUTION: An apnea and/or low respiration diagnosis device includes a respiration signal detection part 4 for detecting a respiration signal of a user in a noninvasive and unrestrained manner, a body motion detection part 6 for detecting a body motion of the user, a normalization part 8 for normalizing the respiration signal, and a respiration state determination part 9 for determining whether the user is in an apneic state and/or in a low respiration state based on a normalized respiration signal normalized by the normalization part 8. When the body motion of the user is detected by the body motion detection part 6, the normalization part 8 takes differential values Lmn, Lmn+1, and Lmn+2 between the maximum value and the minimum value of three temporally-continuous points in the respiration signal, compares the differential values Lmn, Lmn+1, and Lmn+2 of the three points, determines the maximum value of the differential value in the body motion section, and normalizes the respiration signal using the maximum value of the differential value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】 体動が検出された場合に有効に適用可能な正規化手法を採用し、利用者の呼吸状態が無呼吸及び／又は低呼吸であるか否かを高精度に診断する。【解決手段】 無呼吸及び／又は低呼吸診断装置は、利用者の呼吸信号を無侵襲且つ無拘束で検出する呼吸信号検出部４と、利用者の体動を検出する体動検出部６と、呼吸信号の正規化を行う正規化部８と、正規化部８によって正規化された正規化呼吸信号に基づいて、利用者が無呼吸状態及び／又は低呼吸状態であるか否かを判定する呼吸状態判定部９とを備え、正規化部８は、体動検出部６によって利用者の体動が検出されると、呼吸信号における時間的に連続した３点の最大値と最小値との差分値Ｌｍｎ，Ｌｍｎ＋１，Ｌｍｎ＋２をとり、これらの３点の差分値Ｌｍｎ，Ｌｍｎ＋１，Ｌｍｎ＋２を比較して体動区間における差分値の最大値を決定し、差分値の最大値を用いて呼吸信号を正規化する。【選択図】 図１
