PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which a face plate bonded and fixed on a front face of a case body such as an endoscope operation part is reliably prevented from coming off from the front face.SOLUTION: An endoscope 1 comprises: an operation part cover 9 provided with a face plate arrangement part 30 a thin plate-like face plate 10 deformable along an external front face of a first arrangement surface 31 of a face plate arrangement part 30 which includes a marking surface 11 having an exposed part 13 on which characters and pictures are marked and a contact part 14 arranged around the exposed part, and which includes a mounted surface 12 which is mounted on the first arrangement surface 31 of the face plate arrangement part 30 and a presser member 20 bonded and fixed to the operation part cover 9, which is configured like a frame having an opening 21 to expose the exposed part 13 of the marking surface 11, and which has a contact surface 22f arranged on the contact part 14 of the marking surface 11.
