The present invention is a sheet-like cosmetic produced by impregnating a non-woven fabric with a cosmetic comprising (A) 4-methoxysalicylic acid or a salt thereof and (B) a water soluble polysaccharide. It also provides a sheet-like cosmetic that additionally comprises (C) an oil component, (D) an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer, (E) a water soluble polymer other than said (B) and (D), and (F) hydroxylamine or a derivative thereof. The object of the present invention is to improve the texture upon use, such as the stickiness and the friction, of a sheet-like cosmetic produced by impregnating a non-woven fabric with a cosmetic comprising 4-methoxysalicylic acid or a salt thereof.本發明係一種片狀化妝料，其特徵在於：其係使含有(A)4-甲氧柳酸(4-methoxysalicylic acid)或其鹽、及(B)水溶性多糖類之化妝料含浸於不織布中而形成。又，本發明提供一種進而含有(C)油分、(D)烷基改質羧基乙烯基聚合物、(E)該(B)及(D)以外之水溶性高分子、(F)羥基胺類等之片狀化妝料。本發明之目的在於，對於使含有4-甲氧柳酸或其鹽之化妝料含浸於不織布中而形成之片狀化妝料，改善由4-甲氧柳酸或其鹽所導致之黏膩感或粗糙感等使用感。
