The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for preventing and treating male infertility, containing a herb mixture including two or more selected from a group consisting of Rehmannia glutinosa Liboschitz var. purpurea Makino, Lycium chinense Miller, Aquilaria agallocha Roxburgh, Poria cocos Wolf, Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer, and honey, or an extract of the herb mixture as an active ingredient. More specifically, the mixture and the extract thereof of the present invention can be usefully used for treatment which does not cause ethical and social problems, as a remedy of the fundamental cause, wherein the treatment may improve the weight of testis, the number of sperms, reduced sperm motility, and necrosis of seminiferous tubule, which are caused by thermal stress, and alleviate defects in the quality and quantity of sperms of a patient.
