The present disclosure provides a method for thermally sealing a filled chewing gum product. The fill material of the chewing gum product is heated to a temperature greater than 40°C which correspondingly heats the inner portion of the chewing gum material to an elevated temperature. The method further includes sealing the heated inner portion of the chewing gum material to form a sealed, filled chewing gum product. The present disclosure advantageously increases the bond strength of the sealed ends of the sealed and filled chewing gum product and reduces the amount of unacceptable product or leakers.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour thermosceller un produit de gomme à mâcher chargé. Le matériau de charge du produit de gomme à mâcher est chauffé à une température supérieure à 40 °C qui chauffe en conséquence la partie interne du matériau de gomme à mâcher à une température élevée. Le procédé comprend en outre le scellement de la partie interne chauffée du matériau de gomme à mâcher pour former un produit de gomme à mâcher chargé scellé. La présente invention augmente avantageusement la résistance d’adhésion des extrémités scellées du produit de gomme à mâcher scellé et chargé et réduit la quantité de produits inacceptables ou présentant des fuites.
