The present invention relates to a device for assisting in the management of crops. The device has a front end equipped with a pair of cutting blades and a pair of tongs, and a rear end part equipped with a handle for controlling the actions of the cutting blades and tongs. The device is formed to extend linearly so that a user can comfortably cut, plant, and harvest crops growing on the ground, under the ground, or in water while he/she is standing. Water can be supplied through the front end equipped with the cutting blades and tongs so that watering can be performed immediately after handling the cutting, planting, and harvesting of crops. The device for assisting the management of crops according to a preferable embodiment of the present invention comprises: a body formed in a hollow pipe shape having both ends opened； a rod installed inside the body in order to be able to move linearly and elastically and having a front end that is inserted in or dislodged from the front end part of the body through the linear movement； a handle installed at the rear end of the body and a lever capable of rotating, wherein the lever is connected with the rear end of the rod so that the linear movement of the rod is controlled by the rotation of the lever； a pair of cutting blades that has one side fixed to the front end of the body in order to be able to rotate and has a rear end fixed to the front end of the rod so that the cutting blades are made to cross each other due to the linear movement of the rod； a pair of tongs fixed to one side of the cutting blades so as to exhibit a gripping force selectively according to the crossing of the cutting blades； and water supplying means installed at the rear end of the rod in order to be able to supply water so that water can be supplied to the front end part of the rod through a space between the body and the rod according to the supply of water.본 발명은 선단에는 절삭날과 집게가 구비되고 후단에는 절삭날과 집게의 동작을 제어하는 손잡이가 구비되며 선형으로 연장 형성되어 있어 작업자가 지상의 농작물과 지
