PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion type hair-dressing agent which has good spreadability, is not sticky, has excellent hair-dressing power, and does not give a creaky touch.SOLUTION: Provided is the oil-in-water type emulsion type hair-dressing agent comprising (a) a specific long chain acylsulfonate type anionic surfactant (for example, stearoylmethyl taurine sodium) preferably in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass%, (b) a higher aliphatic alcohol preferably in an amount of 0.1 to 20 mass%, (c) one or more selected from (c-1) 0.5 to 50 mass% of a wax, (c-2) 0.1 to 8 mass% of a hair-dressing resin, and (c-3) 0.1 to 8 mass% of a powder component (for example, silicic anhydride), and (d) water.
