PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter in which the configuration of a link arm is devised to prevent the sides of a preliminary seedling stand from being closed and to facilitate the taking out of seedlings placed on the preliminary seedling stand.SOLUTION: A link mechanism R is provided for turnably connecting a plurality of preliminary seedling stands 38a, 38b, 38c to a support machine frame 49. The link mechanism R includes one link arm 39 turnably attached to one side of each of the preliminary seedling stands 38a, 38b, 38c, and a link rod 40 having approximately the same length as the link arm 39 and adapted for aligning the positions of the preliminary seedling stands 38a, 38b, 38c when turning of the one link arm 39 switches the plurality of preliminary seedling stand members 38a, 38b, 38c between a deployed state in which they are aligned in the front and rear direction and a stacked state in which they are aligned vertically.
