PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method preventing contact with hand fingers causing contamination by microorganisms in a dry type blood purifier.
SOLUTION: This sterilization method of a hollow fiber membrane type blood purifier sterilizes the hollow fiber membrane blood purifier with gas or radiation using a common sealing stopper, the common sealing stopper is a cylindrical sealing stopper consisting of a flat-plate top board part, a cylindrical side part suspended from the outer circumference part of the top board part, and a cylindrical stopper body concentrically suspended inside the cylindrical side part from the top board part and being shorter than the length of the cylindrical side part, and the cylindrical stopper body has at least one or more ventilation projecting ribs or ventilation recessed grooves, when the sealing stopper is installed on the blood side port, for circulating air between a blood side port inside and a blood side port outside in a cylindrical stopper internal surface and/or a cylindrical stopper top board part back face. The stopper is at least put on the blood side port and gas replacement or deoxidation are performed with it put on the blood side port.
