Process for manufacturing an emulsion comprising drops (1) in an external solution (2), the drops containing a fluid (3). The fluid is circulated along a first main channel (11), a portion of the fluid flowing in the first main channel is withdrawn by a plurality of microchannels (13) arranged in parallel between the first main channel and a second channel primary (12) filled with external solution, the drops are formed by hydrodynamic focusing as the fluid passes from each microchannel in the second main channel. Procédé de fabrication d'une émulsion comprenant des gouttes (1) dans une solution externe (2), les gouttes contenant un fluide (3). On fait circuler le fluide le long d'un premier canal principal (11), on prélève une partie du fluide circulant dans le premier canal principal, par une pluralité de microcanaux (13) disposés en parallèle entre le premier canal principal et un deuxième canal principal (12) rempli de solution externe, on forme les gouttes par focalisation hydrodynamique lorsque le fluide passe de chaque microcanal dans le deuxième canal principal.
