An oat extract can also be obtained by using one or more of acetone, methylethylketone, methylisobutylketone, ethyl acetate and a C1-C4 alcohol. The compositions are useful to manufacture medicaments for treating acne, dermatosis and psoriasis or as an anti-aging cosmetic for skin.
