Disclosed is a vegetation mat attached to the interior wall surface of a public building and the like so as to provide an environment for growing plants or to be used in greening of the interior, the exterior, and the rooftop of the building. The eco-friendly vegetation mat attachable to the wall surface according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a vegetation mat consisting of 100 parts by weight of artificial soil made of hydroballs and red clay for rooting plants, 50-65 parts by weight of natural cotton having an ability to absorb the water supplied to the plants, and 1.5-9 parts by weight of a natural adhesive for bonding the artificial soil, the red clay, and the natural cotton, and formed into a shape of a block by a press； and a water supplying means for supplying water to the natural cotton to allow the plants to grow on the vegetation mat.개시된 내용은 공공건물 등의 실내 벽면에 부착되어 식물 등이 식생할 수 있는 환경을 제공하거나 또는 실내,외 벽면 및 옥상 녹화용으로 활용할 수 있도록 한 것으로,본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 벽면에 부착되는 친환경 식생매트는식물이 식생할 수 있도록 뿌리가 활착할 수 있도록 하이드로 볼로 이루어진 인공토 및 황토 100중량부와, 상기 식물에 공급되는 물을 흡수할 수 있는 흡수기능을 갖는 천연솜 50∼65중량부와, 상기 인공토, 황토 및 천염솜을 결속시키는 천연접착제 1.5∼9중량부를 포함하여 이루어지고, 프레스 압축에 의해 블록형상을 갖도록 성형되는 식생매트；상기 식생매트에서 식물이 식생할 수 있도록 상기 천연솜에 물을 공급하기 위한 물 공급수단；을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 벽면에 부착되는 친환경 식생매트를 제공한다.
