It, can be with+4 valence (Ce+4 of cerium using doping calcium atom to generate charge-compensation effects (Charge Compensation)) charge compensation occurs, finally generate cerium+trivalent (Ce+3), the valence mumber of Ce in scintillation crystal to be more evenly distributed, and then compensate the silicon acid lutetium yttrium: the charge balance of cerium, so that it is absorbed electric degree up to 2~10 times and has high stability, so it can not only reduce Nonradiative energy transfer and promote light yield, and in the case where cerium energy rank is promoted, it can more enhance the radiation induction to cancer cell, therefore the potassium ion distribution for learning cancer cell molecule can be more readily apparent.一種閃爍晶體檢測器,係包括一由鈣(Ca)原子或鎂(Mg)原子與鈰:矽酸镥釔(Ce:LYSO)混合製成,以自由環狀方式排列於遮蔽屏內,可裝設於欲檢測待測物之正子電腦斷層顯影(Positron Emission Tomography,PET)中。利用摻雜鈣原子以產生電荷補償效應(Charge Compensation),會與鈰+4價(Ce+4)發生電荷補償,最終產生鈰+3價(Ce+3),以將閃爍晶體內Ce之價數分佈更均勻,進而補償該矽酸镥釔:鈰之電荷平衡,使其吸收電度可達2~10倍並具高穩定性,如此不僅可減少非輻射能量轉移而增進光產率,並且在鈰能階提升下,更可增強對癌細胞之放射感應,因此可更容易明顯得知癌細胞分子之分佈情形。
