Disclosed are a social intelligence evaluation method and a device therefor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the social intelligence evaluation method comprises the steps of: generating a plurality of detailed video clips by dividing an observation video sequence which has photographed social interaction behavior of an evaluation target based on behavior recognition； and calculating an evaluation score based on the similarity between a reference value (GROUND TRUTH) generated based on social interaction analysis and the plurality of detailed video clips, to evaluate the social intelligence of the evaluation target.사회 지능 평가 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 사회 지능 평가 방법은 평가 대상의 사회적 상호작용 행동을 촬영한 관찰 비디오 시퀀스를 행위 인식 기반으로 분할하여 복수개의 세부 비디오 클립들을 생성하는 단계； 및 사회적 상호작용 분석을 기반으로 생성된 기준값(GROUND TRUTH)과 상기 복수개의 세부 비디오 클립들 사이의 유사도에 기반한 평가 점수를 산출하여 상기 평가 대상의 사회 지능을 평가하는 단계를 포함한다.
