PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fermented fruit juice, obtained by adding hardly-digestible oligosaccharide to fruit juice and fermenting the mixture with plant lactobacillus, and to provide a food composition or a medicinal composition, with each being produced by using the juice.

SOLUTION: The fermented fruit juice is of health-conscious type of juice and is obtained by adding hardly-digestible oligosaccharide to fruit juice and fermenting the mixture. The food composition or the medicinal composition can be produced by using the fruit juice. Addition of the hardly-digestible oligosaccharide enables suppression of progress in the fermentation, to obtain quality-stabilized fermented fruit juice, as is planned.
