PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique advantageous for exposure control at a part of an analyte related to diagnosis.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging device has a plurality of pixels for acquiring an image, and a plurality of sensors for detecting radiation. The radiation imaging device also includes a processing section for sampling the outputs from sensors constituting an effective sensor group out of the plurality of sensors, and outputting the information for controlling irradiation of radiation depending on the output thus sampled. The processing section excludes the sensors having a value corresponding to the output exceeding a first threshold, out of the plurality of sensors, from the effective sensor group in a first period following to start of irradiation of the radiation in the radiation imaging device, and outputs the information depending on the output of the sensors constituting an effective sensor group in a second period following to the first period.
