PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a first reduction agent for hair deformation, which makes hair deformation simply and semipermanently durable by the heat of an iron for high-temperature hair dressing or a trowel even without using a rod and an agent for hair deformation comprising the first reduction agent for hair deformation as a constituent component and to provide a method for hair deformation using the agent for hair deformation.SOLUTION: In the first reduction agent for hair deformation comprising at least a reducing agent, an alkali agent and water, the first reduction agent is highly mixed with one or more kinds of organic solvents. The agent for hair deformation comprises the first reduction agent for hair deformation as a constituent component.
