PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve conflicting functions ("taking-off easiness" and "coming-off resistance" ) of a fastening tape of a disposable diaper for a low-weight infant.SOLUTION: A diaper for an infant with a body weight equal to or lower than 3000 grams includes: side flaps a pair of fastening tapes 30, and a target area 29. One fastening tape can be superimposed on and fitted with the other fastening tape. When an engaging force between the target area and the one fastening tape is defined as P1 and an engaging force between the one fastening tape and the other fastening tape is defined as P2, a relation of P1>P2>0.1 N/10 mm is satisfied.
