A system comprises sensors configured to determine readings relating to a person sitting on a chair； a processor configured to process the readings from the sensors and to estimate an estimated posture of the person based on the sensors' readings； and a haptic feedback device that is located on the chair； wherein said processor is configured to instruct said haptic feedback device to provide haptic feedback to the person based on the estimated posture. A method comprises obtaining readings relating to a person sitting on the chair； estimating an estimated posture of the person based on the readings； selecting a feedback to be provided to the person based on the estimated posture； and issuing a haptic feedback based on the feedback, wherein the haptic feedback is provided to the person by a haptic feedback device that is located on the chair.
