PURPOSE: To provide an outside hanging type filtration device that is hung outside a wall surface of an aquarium in which the water in the aquarium is made to flow throughout a filtering medium in a filtration device body, and thereby the efficiency of filtration is increased.CONSTITUTION: A pump unit P is detachably supported in a central part in the horizontal direction of a filtration case FC. Left and right filter chambers 17 are formed in both sides of left and right, and are freely inserted in left and right filtration units FU in the left and right filter chambers 17, respectively.
