PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter capable of carrying out a proper planting operation onto a plurality of rows by bringing seedling-planting depths to be uniform in each of the rows even when transplanting the seedlings onto a plurality of the rows, though it is inexpensive with a simple construction.SOLUTION: The transplanter is constructed by bringing each of right and left tamping wheels 73 of a plurality of tamping devices 110 in a lateral direction into contact with a farm field to be vertically moved.
