Provided is a drum reel speed change mechanism that can not only accurately position pins but also maintain speed change operation smoothly, simplify assembly work, and improve product stability. A drum reel transmission mechanism includes a gear shaft, a first gear, a second gear, a transmission rod, a pin, and a first elastic member. The first gear has a first bore. The second gear is arranged parallel to the first gear and has a second perforation 32. The gear shaft passes through the first bore and the second bore and has a shaft hole 12 and two slots 14. The transmission rod is inserted into the shaft hole of the gear shaft and can move in the axial direction with respect to the gear shaft, and has two elongated holes 44. The pin passes through the two slots in the gear shaft and the two elongated holes in the transmission. The first elastic member contacts the pin. The gear shaft rotates the first gear as the pin enters the first bore of the first gear, and the second gear rotates as the pin enters the second bore of the second gear.
