There is provided herein the methods and material for generating GABA serotonergic neurons in brain. Such as, using coding NeuroD1 polypeptides nucleic acid and encoding D 1x2 polypeptides nucleic acid with trigger brain (such as, corpus straitum) in Deiters cells (such as, NG2 Deiters cells or astroglia) formed functional integration in living mammal (such as, people) intracerebral GABA serotonergic neurons (for example, neuron similar with the medium spiny neurons of such as DARPP32- positives GABA serotonergic neurons) method and material.
