A dual-phase oral care composition is disclosed comprising a first phase comprising a water insoluble and/or slightly soluble calcium source in an amount of from 20 to 75 pcnt by weight of the first phase of the composition, a second phase comprising a potassium phosphate salt in an amount of from 30 to 75 pcnt by weight of the second phase of the composition, wherein the first phase further comprises a tubule blockage enhancer selected from calcium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium sulfate hemihydrate or mixtures thereof.
