PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm air heater, maximizing heating efficiency with a small quantity of fuel used, and facilitating complete combustion, ash handling and fuel supply. SOLUTION: This warm air heater includes: a hot air heater body in which a fan 11 is installed at the center of the upper part of a cylindrical drum, a door 12 with a hot air discharge port 13 is installed on the side surface thereof, and an ash receiver 20, the top plate of which has a number of holes, is provided on the lower part. The heater further includes a solid fuel combustion tank 30 erected above the number of holes provided on the top plate of the ash receiver, the upside of which is provided with a lid 31 connected thereto to maintain air tightness, and which has a grille 35 rotatably installed in the inside of the lower end. In the interior of the ash receiver, a space is secured between the upper end of a drawer part 23 and the internal upper end of the ash receiver, and a blower 24 is installed on the outer side surface of the ash receiver.
