A mold (10) for forming a coated intramedullary (IM) nail can include a tubular member (12) having an insertion end (14) that defines an opening and an opposite end (16) that provides a closed end (22). The tubular member (12) can comprise a sidewall (34) extending along a longitudinal axis between an outer surface and an inner surface. The sidewall can define at least one threaded inlet port therealong, configured to receive a flowable material delivery device (100) and that can be closed by a threaded cap (49). The tubular member (12) can be configured to receive the IM nail (60) therein. A method of coating comprises advancing the IM nail into a tubular member (12) of a mold (10), introducing flowable material (102) through a first port at a first location on the tubular member (12) to locate a flowable material (102) against the IM nail (60) within the inner surface and subsequent to curing of the flowable material, removing the tubular member (12) from the coated IM nail.L'invention concerne un moule pour former un clou centromédullaire (IM) revêtu qui peut comprendre un élément tubulaire ayant une extrémité d'introduction et une extrémité opposée.
