An animal house or placement is characterized in that a bottom platform (1) is formed of two preferably identical rectangular panels (11, 12), which are pivotally connected to each other in the area of a fold (10) located in the central vertical plane (v) of said placement, and that a roof (2) is formed of two panels (21, 22), which are also pivotally connected to each other in said central vertical plane (v) and moreover each per se also pivotally with each belonging external longitudinal edge (110, 120) of each neighboring panel (11, 12) of the bottom platform (1), and that at moreover at least one retaining means (3, 4； 6) is foreseen, by means of which said panels (11, 12) of the bottom platform (1) are optionally, namely during the use of such placement, maintained in aligned position and said panels (21, 22) are also maintained in their expanded position apart from each other with respect to a ridge (20), by which the stability of the placement as such is assured during the use thereof.
