PURPOSE: A skin moisturizing peptide derivative is provided to enhance moisturizing effect with less side effects and to manufacture cosmetic products or pharmaceutical products with superior moisturizing effect. CONSTITUTION: A skin moisturizing peptide derivative of chemical formula 1 or an acceptable salt thereof is provided. The molecular weight of the derivative is 500-1000. A skin moisturizing peptide is prepared by selectively conjugating 2-6 amino acids to N-terminal or C-terminal of the peptide derivative through amide bond.
