PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus in which an X-ray irradiation device and an X-ray detector are separately composed, so as to enable easy and accurate positioning of an X-ray tube and the X-ray detector.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an X-ray tube irradiating a subject with X-rays and an X-ray detector separate from the X-ray tube. The X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an acceleration detection part which detects an X-ray irradiation direction of the X-ray tube and inclination of an X-ray incident surface of the X-ray detector on the basis of signals from an acceleration sensor and a magnet detection part which detects the X-ray irradiation direction of the X-ray tube and inclination of the X-ray incident surface of the X-ray detector on the basis of the signals from a magnet sensor.
