The present invention, in a handle for a catheter, relates to a handle for a catheter having a locking function by a lever so as to be easily handled by one hand, the handle comprising: a handle body including a first toothed portion； a rotating plate rotatably received in the handle body and having one end fixed to the wires for deflecting the end portion of a catheter tube； and a rotation lever having a second toothed portion and being operated by external force to rotate the rotation plate or to restrain rotation of the rotation plate, wherein the second toothed portion engages with the first toothed portion to restrict the rotation of the rotating plate.본 발명은 카테터용 핸들에 있어서, 특히 한 손으로도 쉽게 조작이 가능하도록 레버에 의한 잠금기능을 가지는 카테터용 핸들에 관한 것으로, 제1톱니부를 구비하는 핸들 본체, 상기 핸들 본체의 내부에 회전 가능하게 수용되며 카테터 튜브의 종단 부분을 편향시키기 위한 와이어들의 일단이 고정되는 회전판, 그리고 제2톱니부를 구비하며 상기 회전판을 회전 가능하게 하거나 상기 회전판의 회전을 구속하도록 외력에 의해 조작되는 회전레버를 포함하되, 상기 제2톱니부가 상기 제1톱니부에 맞물리면서 상기 회전판의 회전이 구속되는 것이 특징인 발명이다.
