PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle for a medical instrument and a medical instrument having improved convenience.SOLUTION: A handle for a medical instrument is mounted on a base end side of a tube-shaped member having flexibility and includes a handle body 31 and a rotatable plate 320 mounted rotatably on the handle body 31. The handle for a medical instrument includes a rotatable operation part 32 used in rotation operation bending a tip vicinity of the tube-shaped member.
