After the pharmaceutical composition containing rivastigmine according to the present invention is taken, an initial releasing of the medicine in a stomach is controlled to be minimized such that a maximum blood concentration (C_max) is lowered while an effective blood concentration is reached. Therefore, side effects can be reduced. Then, a main component of the medicine is controlled to be released continuously in order to maintain the effective blood concentration. As a result, the pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention provides the same effect as for a conventional two-times-a-day dose even when the composition is taken only once a day.
