The method involves introducing fluid in finely distributed form into exhaust air, and neutralizing odor of odorants contained in the exhaust air. An aqueous solution of glycerol is used as the fluid, where the fluid contains 2.5 to 10 percent volume of glycerol. The fluid additionally contains up to 2.5 percent volume of glycol or acetic acid N-butyl ester.
