PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-aware type eye examiner where replacing a subjects optical elements is easy without the need of any special operations when a display is changed into a second display mode to display a visual target on a display screen.
SOLUTION: A CPU 28 that controls the operation of a visual target presentation part 13, a correction system 14 and a display 25 by operating an operator 24 displays a lens data 34 together with the visual targets 11 on the display screen 37 of the display 25 when the display 25 has changed from a first display mode to display the lens data 34 of corrective lenses or optical elements into a second display mode to display the visual targets 11.
