PURPOSE: A chicken feed composition containing angelica gigas nakai is provided to improve the egg laying rate of chicken by enhancing the water solubility of active ingredients in the angelica gigas nakai. CONSTITUTION: A chicken feed composition containing angelica gigas nakai includes angelica gigas nakai granules obtained by the following steps: crushing angelica gigas nakai at -196~30deg C into the diameter smaller than 10micrometers: and mixing the obtained angelica gigas nakai powder with a binder, and inserting the mixture into a co-rotating type twin screw extruder with a conveying screw and kneading blocks for extruding.-196~30℃의 온도 조건에서 직경 10㎛ 이하가 되도록 파쇄한 당귀 분말을 스크류(screw)의 회전수 150~250 rpm, 배럴(barrel)의 압력 50~150 bar, 스크류와 배럴의 간극 0.1~0.3 mm, 배럴의 가열 온도 100~200℃ 조건으로 컨베잉 스크류(conveying screw)와 니딩 블락(kneading blocks)이 구비된 동방향 회전 이축 스크류 압출 성형기(co-rotating type twin screw extruder)에 바인더와 함께 투입한 후, 압출하여 수득한 당귀 과립을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 닭 사료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명은 산란계의 산란율을 증가시키고, 계란껍질의 점박이의 발생률을 감소시켜 상품적 가치가 우수한 계란의 생산량을 증가시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 계란의 비린맛은 감소시키고 단맛을 증가시켜 계란의 맛을 개선시키는 효과도 발휘한다.
