PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide candies leaving feeling of effects of propolis without masking while masking peculiar Chinese medicine-like nasty odor which propolis has.
SOLUTION: The propolis-containing candies have a structure of combining a propolis-containing candy part and a candy part containing ascorbic acid and/or its derivative. The propolis content of the propolis candy part is 0.1-5.0 wt.% in solid content, and the surface ratio of the propolis candy part and the candy part containing ascorbic acid and/or its derivative is (1:5) to (5:1).
