La présente invention concerne un cathéter vasculaire (1) mono-lumière destiné à être inséré dans un canal de flux sanguin pour l'injection d'un produit par voie veineuse ou artérielle, comportant un tube (2) ayant un corps longitudinal creux présentant une lumière (3), la lumière (3) s'étendant tout le long du tube (2) et étant destinée à permettre l'injection d'un volume (4) donné de produit, selon un débit prescrit, le tube (2) présente des orifices latéraux (5) de taille sensiblement identique et disposés autour de l'axe longitudinal sensiblement symétriquement dans le corps longitudinal, à proximité d'une extrémité distale (6) du tube (2), une surface d'extrémité (7) à l'extrémité distale (6) du tube (2) réduisant une surface totale de la lumière (3) à partir de l'extrémité distale (6) du tube (2).
