Drug delivery system comprising a cartridge with an axially displaceable piston, and a front- loaded cartridge holder adapted to axially receive and hold a cartridge in a loaded position. The cartridge comprises first coupling means arranged at the distal portion, and the cartridge holder comprises second coupling means arranged at the distal portion, wherein the first and second coupling means are configured to engage each other to thereby axially secure a cartridge mounted in the cartridge holder.La présente invention concerne un système dadministration de médicament comprenant une cartouche équipée dun piston à déplacement axial et dun support avant pour cartouche en position chargée conçu pour recevoir et supporter de façon axiale une cartouche en position chargée. Ladite cartouche comprend un premier moyen de raccordement disposé au niveau de la partie distale, tandis que le support pour cartouche comprend un second moyen de raccordement disposé au niveau de la partie distale, lesdits premier et second moyens de raccordement étant conçus pour coopérer afin dimmobiliser, de façon axiale, une cartouche montée dans le support pour cartouche.
