<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-tick material not only having excellent sustainability of bioactive functions and sustained releasability of the bioactive substance, but also having water holding properties and environmental compatibility, and to provide a method for producing the material and a processed product including the material. <；P>；SOLUTION: The method for producing the anti-tick material carrying a metal-tropolone complex having bioactive functions between inorganic layers includes using an inorganic layered compound as a main raw material, and inserting one or more kinds of selected metal ions having bioactive functions and tropolone-based compounds in a metal-tropolone complex shape between the layers by cation-exchanging reaction.
