PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel indoxyl sulfate production inhibitor targeting chronic renal failure patients.SOLUTION: Provided is an indoxyl sulfate production inhibitor comprising paramylum derived from Euglena. With this indoxyl sulfate production inhibitor, 1 to 3 g of paramylum per time is orally administered continuously several times a day between meals to patients having chronic renal failure and receiving a dialysis treatment.
