Disclosed is a carbamoyl-cyclohexane compound of formula (I) where the substituents are as disclosed in the specification. Example of compounds of formula is trans-1- { 4-[2-[ 4-(2,3-dichloro-4-methoxy-phenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-ethyl]-cyclohexyl } -urea. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (I) and the use of a compound of formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for treatment and/or prevention of a condition which requires modulation of a dopamine receptor selected from the group consisting of psychoses (e.g, schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorders) , cognitive impairment accompanying schizophrenia, mild-to-moderate cognitive deficits, dementia, psychotic states associated with dementia, psychotic depression, mania, paranoid and delusional disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, dyskinetic disorders such as Parkinson's disease, neuroleptic induced parkinsonism, tardive dyskinesia, eating disorders (e.g. bulimia nervosa), attention deficit disorders, hyperactivity disorders in children, depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, sleep disorders, emesis, aggression, autism and drug abuse.
