An antiperspirant stick composition can include an amount of a synthetic wax having a melting point less than or equal to 90 °C, a melting point additive in an amount sufficient to provide the composition with a melting point greater than or equal to 40 °C, an amount of a fatty alcohol, and an effective amount of an antiperspirant active agent. The fatty alcohol and the antiperspirant active agent can be present at a weight ratio of from 2: 1 to 1 :2.
