The present invention relates to a water-borne pressure sensitive adhesive composition, which comprises the polymer copolymerized by the (meth) acrylic acid and its ester-series monomer, the polyoxirane, poly propylene oxide or its copolymer, and selectively therefrom the natto extract, the polyol (such as propylene glycol, glycerine or sorbitol), or the polysaccharide (e.g. chitosan or starch). The water-borne pressure sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention is utilized to make the skin-contact tape such as the drug delivery patch (film) to endow strong adhesiveness towards skin for a long time, without causing skin allergy phenomenon and capable of resulting in the efficacy of long-time and sustainable transdermal drug delivery to the skin surface.
