PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that common jerky (dried meat) which a pet likes cannot be bitten by an old dog and puppy, whereas jerky which has been processed to contain much moisture and be soft can be given to them as food only right after processing but is not suitable for long-term storage and distribution on the market.SOLUTION: A material, which is meat including fish, is dried to a residual moisture value in the range of 28-30%, the material is enclosed in a predetermined retort pouch, and it is subjected to retort sterilization to make a product.
