The present invention relates to an absorbent core for an absorbent article including a liquid-permeable upper sheet, an absorption and dispersion layer positioned below the upper sheet, the liquid absorbing and holding absorbent core positioned below the absorption and dispersion layer, and a liquid-impermeable backsheet positioned below the absorbent core. The absorbent core contains highly absorbent resin and cross sectional yarn prepared by mixing polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with an aqueous dispersion solution containing particles having a BET specific surface area of 300 to 1,500 m^2/g or a porosity of at least 50%. In comparison to existing absorbent cores, the absorbent core according to the present invention provides more convenient storage, more wearing activity, and improved permeability.본 발명은 액체 투과성 상부 시트, 상기 상부 시트 하부에 위치하는 흡수 분산층, 상기 흡수 분산층 하부에 위치하여 액체를 흡수 및 보유하는 흡수 코어 및 상기 흡수 코어 하부에 위치하는 액체 불투과성 배면 시트(backsheet)를 포함하는 흡수 용품의 흡수 코어로서, 상기 흡수코어는 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트(PET)에 ⅰ) 300 내지 1500 m2/g 의 BET 비표면적 (specific surface area) 내지 ⅱ) 50 % 이상의 공극률(porosity)의 특성을 갖는 입자를 포함하는 수분산액을 혼합하여 제조된 십자 이형 단면사 및 고흡수성 수지를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 흡수 코어에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 흡수 코어는 기존의 흡수 코어에 비하여 보관의 편리성, 착용 시 활동성이 있고, 통액성이 향상되는 효과가 있다
